After students were shown Miro's poster of "People and Dog with Sun", we brain stormed about the different shapes and ways to draw faces and bodies like Miro did. Next they drew their own upside and sideways people with Sharpie, made shape patterns on their bodies, and did crayon rubbing over burlap to create a texture similar to Miro's painting.
